The basic game is brilliant: a combination of Tetris puzzle and multi directional Scrabble. Therefore you have to juggle fitting together of falling shapes to complete lines that turn into letters which you make into words. Now to the part of the game that is not fun or interesting. After a set of challenge which are helpful in developing speed and agility, you get challenges that are not just tough but sometimes inexplicable. So the challenges go immediately from beginner level 1 to way hard level 7 without any intermediate steps. I really prefer a "reward" system that is based on badges that you can collection. So you can get three bases for million points, badges for two million, badges for five six letter words in a game. It would be fairly easy to convert current system to something, anything better much better. Learn from Fitbit. Biggest peeve: One challenge says 20 words without lines. What does that mean? You need lines to get letters. So words not on one line? Words not in a line? Words that dont cause a line? All you find out in terms of feedback is that you have failed the challenge which you dont actually understand. Puzzle juicers. You can do better. And I hope you do.

I really appreciate this game because it seems like the creators had a lot of fun with it, but also because of the lack of ads and in app purchases. Definitely worth the price-- even if you end up not liking the game or playing for a long, it seems like youre supporting a good cause. So, this game has a great concept, but its not very user-friendly. There are plenty of ways to make something hard without making it feel glitchy. You tap color blocks, and tap to rotate… You swipe to move the block, and swipe to spell words. On a small iPhone screen, (I have a 6, but still) once the game gets going it keeps swiping words when I want to move the block and clicking color blocks when I want to rotate. Theres just not enough space to the side and top to move and rotate the block, and the motion to drop the block entirely is way too sensitive. Maybe a bar at the top would help, or make the space at the bottom more useful? When I try to use it this weird useless magnifying square comes up and gets in the way. Also, Ive read in a bunch of reviews that people had trouble changing their name for the high score. I figured this out, but its not intuitive: you actually have to click backspace until "broseph" goes away… You cant select, and it doesnt look editable. A few tweaks could make this a perfect game! Update: agh!!! The game crashes when a notification pops up, as well as at other ransom times. I just lost my high score :( And why is rage quit where youd press to exit the window? And why doesnt it confirm whether or not youd actually like to quit? Fix please! Im semi addicted now, I hate it when a game has so much potential but doesnt work because of a few stupid, easily fixed things.

This game has great potential, but is very buggy. The app freezes on average twice per session. The controls often respond in unexpected ways like turning a shape instead of selecting letters. The opening title page requires too much user input. Id like to see an actual zen mode with continuous play-not a frantic level thats poorly named. Just get to the game. The concept is solid, and makes for an enjoyable game.

I loved playing this game. It was fast, but allowed for pausing & natural slow downs to not be too stressful. Now when I open the app, I select the game mode & the game takes forever to load & then finally shows the game over screen. Please fix this! I love your game!

I have caveats. Im using an iPhone 5S and its just as buggy as it was on my iPhone 4. The controls have some issues responding to fast movements which is infuriating when the game is partially time-based. When running, the game saps battery more quickly than any other game on my phone (more than Bejeweled and Tripletown, possibly more than them combined). This game needs an update desperately. All that aside, I still love this game, which speaks to the strength of the concept and design. I just think the developer should possibly find a way to separate the maneuvering of the bricks from the tracing of words, because its so irritating to lose because the game misread your swipe.

I recently bought this on my iPhone 6S running iOS 9.1. I was inspired to try it out because I listened to previews of the soundtrack on iTunes and I really like Big Giant Circles and their soundtrack for Threes. Well, this game is fun, and though a lot of people have complained about the difficulty level, I think its at kind of a sweet spot between challenging and annoying. But it has no music. Ever. Im sure this is a bug. Ive closed all open apps, closed and reopened Puzzlejuice, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and rebooted my iPhone, all to no effect. Please fix this app! Im sure its fun, but its super lonely with no music.

This game is absolutely amazing. The controls are fabulous and the graphics are awesome. The only issue I have is that the background music is not playing, even if the volume is up.

Later note (Jan 4, 2016): the contact address on the Puzzle Juice website is not working. I am now in Euro Mode and have satisfied all challenges, the third one TWICE, but even those appear in my scoreboard the game does not credit me on the Euro mode page with that final type of success. Hopefully, they read reviews so will know about the problem and fix it. THEY FIXED IT! Once they knew it took them little time, then the third time i got 3,000,000 points in Euro it worked! I ADORE these people. They create great games which are visually accessible, and they are responsive when alerted to a problem. Top marks for them! Earlier note: I have glaucoma so not all fonts work for me, given that i have to move my eye focus around more than most when playing a game like this. The font is perfect. The creators also selected bold colors which are vision friendly. Yes, the game is hard, but it is great fun, and as my score over 5,600,000 on the hard mode tonight shows it is not impossible once a person is used to the rules. I am a bit leery of moving into levels that might have greater speed, but plan to try that tomorrow. So, thanks for two wonderful games because i also play Threes often, and wish me luck on the more difficult levels!

I got the game because I simply love threes! But this game is not as near as good as threes! This game is way too stressful and super uncomfortable if you have a iPhone 5s. They should tell the game is not good for the 5s because its almost impossible to play. I hope in the future they actually add a real Zen mode, because that its not zen, its as stressing as the other modes. At a point its almost ridiculous. Im disappointed I wasted 2 bucks in this game -.-

This game is amazing! Its like the baby between the happy marriage of Tetris and a word game. Its witty, exciting, challenging and dynamic. And it isnt crippled without a data/wifi connection so its always my go to game on planes or waiting rooms. One of my all time favorite games to play.
