I think its a fun and addicting concept, but the tap-to-rotate control is often unreliable, especially as the game gets hectic. In general, the controls feel like they could be tighter. The menu design is a little tedious (swiping to navigate is counterintuitive and irritating) and having a restart option in addition to the rage quit option would be nice when I just want to start over. For some reason, I cant enter anything in the keyboard (except backspace) when it wants my name for a high score. So my name is forever Broseph. I hope they put some time into cleaning this up a little, I could really love this.

Original idea, fun to play. Still keeps me entertained after months. Just a couple bug fixes (mentioned in other reviews) and it would be perfect. Also, the rage quit button should have an "Are you sure" after being tapped on.

If you like Tetris and other word search/spell games (such as Spelltower), this will be right up your alley. Its great fun, and has interesting gameplay - combining the shape-matching challenge of Tetris or Columns with the need to spell words in resulting letter rows (when you create a solid row) to ultimately make the rows disappear. It does get to be little tricky rather quickly, so youll want to be up for some fast thinking and multitasking. Ive noticed that some folks have remarked that it gets stressful, which can certainly be a fair assessment in many senses, because it does require you to essentially manage two puzzles simultaneously. The game really stretches you to use different skills at once - if youre itching for a challenge and are not too easily frustrated - youll love it. I certainly enjoy the fact that it makes me balance two challenges at one time. For that reason, in fact, the game is always fun and seems to constantly be "renewed" with new challenges. The only complaint I have seems to be the same as others - youre unable to use the keyboard to enter your name and save data. (Thats a pretty minor quibble though.)

Cant turn pieces when I tap. Used to work better. Cant even play it now since youve updated it. Frustrating.

Although great in theory, the game is too confusing and the tutorial is unhelpful. What are the chain bonuses, the various numbers around the screen, are all letters scored the same? The tap to rotate feature is buggy. It looks pretty, but that is about all going for it.

Love the game. But Ive recently started having problems recording my high score. I cant easily change the name (I add the date to my name). Help!!

I love the game, I have it on my iPad and my other iPhone and both of them are under the name "Susan" I get points on my brand new iPhone 5s with the same app from my cloud and it has the name BROSEPH as my id...please tell me how to fix this

This is an amazing, difficult, puzzler but it makes me sad that so many people diss it. The controls are amazing and I experience no problem at all! You swipe to move the incoming blocks and you also swipe to spell words; but they dont interfere. I also hear complaints on difficulty; read the description!!! This game will literally make your iDevice grow arms and punch your brain. Okay, not really, but you get the point. That wasnt put there as a lame gimmick- this game is seriously unhealthily hard. If youre looking for something more slow paced, buy Tetris or SpellTower, not PuzzleJuice, which is basically a combination of the two. I bought this after I got Threes and the two are beautiful apps that you will not regret buying. Both are challenging puzzlers (Threes is much more slow paced, however, but still hard to master) and you should totally buy both. Anyways, sticking to the topic at hand, this game has awesome brain-punching game modes with different difficulties that will make you frustrated. If you are ready to take on an awesome challenge, play Tetris, spell words (some slang included), and listen to a creative soundtrack, dont hesitate! A word search puzzle book costs the same except PuzzleJuice is much more entertaining! I have noticed one bug I would like to point out. When saving a high score, although I go backspace and type new characters, the name Broseph stays. Broseph is pretty rad but I miss my name.

I wouldve given this game 5/5 stars, but Im getting the "broseph" bug on ipad air. Also, the touch could be more sensitive and respond more quickly on phone and ipad air, but particularly the latter. Otherwise, this is an outstanding game as is threes.

If you like tetris then you will likely love this game, but I find tetris to be a game to keep people busy on non-smartphones.

It has a few bugs. Sometimes a group of blocks slams down when I didnt swipe them down. Sometimes they are slow to turn and often a group of blocks will show on screen even thought they arent there, meaning other blocks fall through them because they had already moved down but double images have remained in their original place. I still play because I love the game and the challenge but it does get frustrating.

Would be 4 or 5 stars, but the rotation bug literally ruins games. Ive had so many games ruined or lost because I sit there tapping the screen but the piece just never rotates. Ive triple checked its not from another piece of a finger or hand touching the screen, its assuredly a bug. Fix the bug and youll get the 4-5 stars, but until then its unplayable.

I actually had to purchased this app to make this comment, first of all... even though Ive played it a thousand times. The bottom line is compared to todays games its pretty good but compared to commonsense reality its mediocre and biased because it lacks randomization. Its programmed enough to make you lose & keep coming back. Skill means little. Idiots.

Love the game but really need an off button for the music.

The game itself is great. But the controls are randomly unresponsive which is why I cant give it 5 stars. Fix the bugs and this would be a truly addictive game!!

Bought this game expecting something as intelligent as Threes!. But got a deception with this one. Not worth the money. It is that stupid Tetris game combined with a boring crossword game. Avoid by all means!

App seems to respond slower than my fingers -- and this on an iPad Air 2. Often cant tell if Im trying to move the tile or spell a word. If a future update helps address this, theres probably something quite cool here.

The controls do need a little refining. Its not a deal killer. I still would recommend the game to anyone.

I feel like this could be a fun game but the controls arent very good and make the game harder than it actually is.
