The reason I play puzzle games is to relax. Yes, I read the "punch your brain" description, but I didnt realize that simply translated to mean "timer hell." Theres a reason many developers offer a "zen mode," and its because without one, people like me would never play games at all.
This games zen mode removes the dropping blocks, but adds a countdown timer to the whole game. How "zen" is that? News flash: If puzzle gamers enjoyed that kind of stress, wed be platform gamers, too, but most are not, and this is why. We want to relax and think, not have something bombarding or pressuring us into action. Thats not excitement; its stress!
Im disappointed, because I was looking forward to this game. My fault; I should have watched it online first. I hardly spent any time making words because I was too stressed over the falling blocks or timer. Bummer.
-2 stars for not considering your audience. Why not remove the timer from zen mode so everyone can be happy?
